ALLETE Renewable Resources, Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for a Reliability Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting the successful construction and subsequent operation/maintenance of facilities associated with the ALLETE/Minnesota Power Bison wind project.
Responsible for providing direct hands on maintenance services and for providing leadership, direction, supervision and training to support wind generation and other renewable generation operations.
Candidate will be responsible for directing work and completing performance reviews on staff.
Will be directly involved in decisions regarding hiring/firing and disciplinary actions.
Has direct responsibility for operational issues, including maintenance of all equipment and performing facility analysis to identify and resolve problems to avoid failure modes.
Develops and implements procedures to be used by employees and contractors to safely perform maintenance duties. Responsible for assuring compliance with safety, environmental, and maintenance requirements.
Assists in development of long-term plans and budgets.
High degree of communication and interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain relationships with contractors, regulatory agencies and various internal departments.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in engineering, industrial technology, business administration, management or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of field experience in construction, operations and/or maintenance of energy production facilities, or wind generation.
Must maintain a valid driver's license.
Position is located near New Salem, ND at the ALLETE Renewable Resources, Inc. Bison I Wind Construction Project. Additional travel may be required.
