USAgain, seeks Division Manager to plan, organize and manage the Minneapolis-St. Paul division in its entirety, including collection of material from the drop-boxes, receiving, processing, and shipping of all material, and location of drop-box sites for high yield and high quality.
The Division Manager keeps track of all material collected and shipped in a production database. The Division Manager has full profit and loss responsibility and reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
Production:
Plan production and secure that all incoming clothes, shoes and misc. are processed and prepared for shipping right away within the norms
Maintain excellent order and systems
Maintain excellent safety standards
Secure that all products are up to standard and meet the specific requirements of the customer
Perform quality control on finished products
Manage refurbishing of drop-boxes
Manage the sales force for site location and expansion, to secure high yielding excellent quality sites for drop-box placement
Make strategic partnerships with local organizations
Promote rewear, reuse and recycling within the company and in the community
Shipping:
Communicate with broker, freight forwarders and truckers about outgoing loads
Prepare packing lists, bills of lading and other documentation for loads
Ensure an excellent level of customer service and response time for handling issues
Personnel:
Maintain the correct staff
Keep attendance and performance logs
Address performance and discipline issues with employees
Train incoming and existing personnel to perform needed functions safely
Hire and fire
Qualifications:
The successful candidate has several years experience with profitable performance in a similar industry.
Experience with managing route drivers.
Background in sales management, production management and dispatching.
Proficient in using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software.
Able and willing to perform any job in the operation.
