Astralux is looking for a highly motivated and experienced solar installer candidate - ideally with prior solar energy installation experience (although not required). Come join one of the fastest growing industries in America!
As a solar installer with Astralux, you will be working directly with the management and design team to deliver a perfectly installed system to the customer.
Responsibilities:
Work conducted mainly on roofs of various pitches.
Existing experience or eager to learn the essentials of quality solar installation:
a. Company policies and installation methods
b. NEC code book regulations
c. Safe work habits
Find rafters, install racking, panels, inverter, and other solar materials.
Assist Crew Chief(s) and Project Manager(s).
Conduct basic troubleshooting.
Read and discern electric voltmeter measurements.
Organize and stock work vans and warehouse.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications for Position:
Excellent customer service, punctuality, and time management skills.
Able to work on roofs of various pitches.
Prior roofing and/or construction experience.
Owns basic construction and roofing tools.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers' license.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Excited to help protect our environment and natural resources through solar energy!
Desired Qualifications for Position:
Previous solar installation experience (over 10 systems a plus).
Prior electrical experience, namely NEC Code and AC/DC electrical systems experience.
NABCEP certification (or working towards certification).
SEI or similar solar energy training.
Compensation: Compensation is commensurate with experience and availability.
