The successful candidate will assemble, operate and maintain experimental chemical reactor cells and systems, assist in the design and construction of bench scale systems for various reactors and fuel cells, and support the PhD team in this entrepreneurial research and development alternative energy laboratory.
Qualifications:
AAS or BS in chemistry, engineering, or science-related field with focus on chemistry plus 5 to 7 years industry/research laboratory experience;
demonstrated ability in and knowledge of the operation of standard laboratory equipment and vacuum systems;
mechanically inclined;
general understanding of safe air-sensitive chemical handling methods;
must be able to accurately record data;
must possess strong organization, communication, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills;
intermediate to advanced PC experience.
