EIC|ComfortHome, a national leader in residential Energy Efficiency, has an immediate full-time career opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual as an Energy Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to work in an expanding industry for a company focused on building a more energy efficient America.
Responsibilities:
Duties can include but are not limited to:
- installing weatherstripping,
- blowing attic insulation,
- sealing building air leaks,
- replacing doors and windows,
- sealing ductwork.
Hours of Work: Normal work hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm with availability to work overtime and Saturday hours.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 1+ years of advanced education or technical education.
- 6 months to 1+ years of relevant residential construction/remodeling experience.
- Capable and comfortable working with required tools and equipment.
- A technical background and knowledge of residential construction and building equipment systems is strongly encouraged.
This is a hands-on position that requires familiarity and capability with tools and equipment.
Physical Demands: Must have a full range of body movements including use of hands and able to lift 50 lbs and perform considerable stooping and kneeling.
